We are seeking a dynamic, strategic Senior Manager Procurement for Littelfuse Electronics Business. This person will develop procurement strategies to enable/protect revenue and profit growth in the business unit through strategic activities. This person must have excellent leadership skills as well as a successful track record of working with suppliers and subcontractors & other stakeholders, improving cash flow and aligning priorities while influencing senior business unit leaders to achieve annual and long-term goals.
About the Job:
Develop senior stakeholder relationships with the electronics businesses to determine business needs and develop strategy for solutions. Develop and implement operational efficiencies of processes and tools e.g. procure-to-pay, automated workflows etc. Manage category strategy and work with cross-functional team to implement strategy on different product lines, consolidate and renationalize our global supplier base, transfer more spend/allocation to strategic suppliers. Develop and execute annual cost reduction plan (including VAVE projects and negotiation) to achieve annual cost reduction targets with cost model implementation, work with engineering team to implement cost saving projects on time; negotiate payment term to ensure competitive DPO. Capable of negotiating complex supply agreements and contracts with strategic suppliers. Work with new product sourcing team to ensure we select the right strategic supplier on new products, ensure on cost, on time for new products. Manage suppliers in cost, quality, delivery and service to ensure the competitiveness of Littelfuse (including price and commercial terms negotiation), regular business review with strategic suppliers, drive actions for poor performing suppliers. Monitor industry trends, rules, performance, market conditions; collection of market, competitors’ status and information analysis. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the market intelligence and industry insight.
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain or similar field; Master’s Degree a plus. 15+ years of experience in electronics industry procurement, and technical knowledge of custom designed components. Track record of designing procurement strategies for a low volume, high mix business. Strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate leadership, teamwork and flexibility while working with all levels of the organization and external vendors. Strong problem solving skill and learning agility. Has the presence to draw out multiple view points from others and use multiple solutions to meet business goals. Proven Global experience and ability to develop strong, agile teams across regions with good coaching and mentoring skillset. Strong negotiation skills, including contract/supply agreement negotiations. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international). Experience in lean and/or six-sigma methodologies a plus.-
