Job Description:

Main Accountabilities:

Lead long-acting injectable drug delivery product development work. Arrange, evaluate, present and defend results appropriately to scientific and non-scientific project partners - both internal and external.Lead or participate in technology transfer, including preparation of documents and presentationsSupervise and lead direct report to achieve project deliverables on time and good qualityManagement of outsourced development activities at CROs/CMOsUnderstand medical and pharmaceutical unmet needs and generate innovative product design ideaWork according to safety and quality regulations/guidelines (GMP, SOP’s)Prepare high-quality protocols, reports, patent, regulatory documents, and SOPsInitiating and introducing new scientific knowledge into the area and keeping an updated scientific and regulatory knowledge in defined fieldsExternal collaborators. Build up network of scientific advisors and academic centers within drug delivery areas

Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum Ph.D. in Chemical engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.Minimum 5-10 years experience in pharmaceutical industryProven skills in pre-formulation, complex parenteral formulation/drug delivery system development from lab to commercial manufacture.Proven scientific skill and ability to do independent scientific work with no guidanceProven skills in QbD and experimental designExcellent interpersonal skills and teamwork attitude with the ability to interact effectively with people from different levels of both internal and external organization.Fluent in spoken and written both Chinese and English

Work is performed in a timely manner and in conjunction with agreed upon project timelinesSound scientific judgement is reflected in data summaries, reports and presentationsAll internal safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are followedMaintain compliance with cGxP regulations and updated skills training
