We are looking for a Head of Physical Education PE for an international school in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

About the role

The PE Department Head is expected to demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities by maintaining high standards in their own classroom teaching and lesson preparation. This individual will be responsible for guiding the physical education curriculum throughout the school and will provide assistance to other department heads and phase leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in related subject
  • Teaching license such as PGCE or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies
