We are looking for a Head of Computer Science and Technology for an international school in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024.

About the role

The Head of Computer Science and Technology is expected to exemplify exemplary teaching methodologies, setting a benchmark for the entire teaching staff. This role involves comprehensive management of the curriculum, encompassing elements from both the English and Chinese National Curriculum. Functioning across the entire school, the role requires leading a skilled team of Computer Science and Technology educators, which includes both Chinese and international professionals. Additionally, the role involves harmonizing a robust curriculum with our broad range of house and co-curricular activities, necessitating collaboration with other staff members involved in the Computer Science and Technology program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of related working experience
  • Teaching license such as PGCE or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and apply local Chinese educational standards as well as new technologies
  • Displayed commitment to fostering student growth and a positive outlook on their learning potential
