What you will do
- Driving customer discussion understanding their requirements, translating customer needs into actionable features and capabilities.
- Managing the product roadmap / backlog with respect to our product strategy, and managing the dependencies among them in close collaboration with product experts inside and outside of SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Working with Development Manager to plan requirements in JIRA and guide engineering team to deliver along the product roadmap.
- Coordinating, gathering and integration of feedback from different stakeholders, especially from customers, fields and Product Marketing.
- As member of the product team, planning and facilitating alignment sessions with several stakeholder groups across units and including customers with the objective to transform business needs as well as non-functional requirements into a product roadmap with a prioritized and ranked backlog allowing continuous feature delivery.
What you bring
- Business Domain experience in E-Commerce, both B2B and B2C. Excellent knowledge of customer needs and market trends, with relevant Industry experience.
- Proven track record as product manager, product owner, product/project lead, or engineering lead in the areas of product engineering or customer success (consulting). Experience on product strategy, requirement management and scoping
- Ability to drive communication and establish trustful working relations with senior stakeholders and across inter-departmental boundaries
- Having a 360-degree holistic product management mindset with a hands-on and can-do attitude, highly collaborative
- Have a passion to deliver great products that users love
- Show initiative and drive topics to resolution on a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Contribute towards efficiency, effectively, and process improvement.
- Team player, fostering a collaborative work environment with peers, with a clear view on delivering results
- Fluent in English speaking and writing

The purpose of the SAP Commerce Cloud Dev Teams in Chengdu is to maintain and implement improvements for the SAP Commerce Cloud core components. We are looking for a product expert, who will contribute to develop our product roadmap with respect to our product strategy as well as the individual product characteristics in his/her area of responsibility.
