Architectural Leadership:

· Define and lead the future architecture of 3D HMI on the Android platform, ensuring alignment with Mercedes-Benz's strategic goals.

· Make authoritative technical decisions regarding the 3D HMI architecture. Ensure the architecture meets the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience.

· Lead performance optimization. Ensure architecture scalability and extendibility.

· Anticipate and address future challenges and opportunities in HMI technologies. Lead in new technology research and introduction.

Lead technical solution finding & communication

· Drive technical discussions and resolve conflicts effectively, fostering a collaborative environment.

· Communicate technical concepts and decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and product management, to ensure cohesive integration of HMI features.

Innovation and Problem Solving:

· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate into the HMI architecture.

· Innovate and provide solutions to complex technical problems.

Team Collaboration and Tech Leadership:

· Define roadmap for team core technical competency building and evaluate competency level, provide solution towards defined gaps.

· Mentor and guide team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.

Qualifikationen

Education

· Master degree or above, major in computer engineering, information engineering, embedded systems or a related engineering field;

Experience

· More than years of Experience as SW Architect, Solution architecture, preferably in automotive industry;

More than 7 years of relevant work experience in in-vehicle infotainment system with focus in 3D HMI Have leaded more than 2 product’s main HMI architecture design and launched successfully Have leaded SW Platform Design at the previous company

Knowledge

· Extensive experience in 3D HMI architecture, particularly on the Android platform.

· Deep understanding of Android development, 3D graphics, and user interface design.

· Strong background in software architecture and system design. Proven ability to foresee and lead the development of future architecture strategies.

· Profound knowledge of 3D rendering techniques and deep understanding about market solution providers.

· Good understanding on software base layer (kernel, driver and BSP etc.), middle layer and application layer design and development

· Good understanding on HW SoC and relevant peripheral devices

· Experience in leading technical teams and driving high-stakes discussions and decisions.

· Has teamwork spirit, willing to share, able to self-motivate, and influences and leads the team with a positive, hardworking, and optimistic attitude

· Fluent English, German is a plus

Preferred:

Have experience in large-scale operating system architecture design and technical proposals, have sufficient software security awareness, and master data encryption, code obfuscation, anti-cracking, performance optimization and other technologies.
