Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales.
- Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory.
- Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
- Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customersâ expectations.Â
- Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveraging Cytiva customer account team.
- Accountable to drive overall design-in account strategies, aligned with Sales Specialists on technical Design in projects.Â
The essential requirements of the job include:
Skills:
- Sales techniques include cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.
- Business market knowledge.
- Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
- DBS (Danaher Business System) growth tools.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelorâs Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
- 5 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
