  • Provide legal advice to Finance, HR, Sourcing, GA, and other functional teams on various legal matters related to procurement, contracts, labor & employment, privacy, interaction with HCPs, etc.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support the team in resolving legal issues and mitigating risks.
  • Coordinate with associates across platforms and Opcos to ensure the implementation of the Legal & Compliance teamâs initiatives and priorities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to localization process and other Danaher China strategies.
  • Develop and conduct training to improve internal clientâs knowledge on a range of legal and compliance issues. 
  • Manage claims, disputes, mediations, litigation and arbitrations if assigned to.
  • Assist the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer with significant project developments /matters in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with global legal & compliance team colleagues to provide efficient, effective legal support.

Key Qualification

  • Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent, PRC or foreign bar membership is preferred.  An LLM or a JD degree abroad is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in a reputable law firm is required.  In-house counsel experience at a global healthcare company is preferred.
  • Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, use of contract management policies and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable interacting with business leaders.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to get the job done.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English, both orally and in writing.
