Job Description:

Digital Data & Analytics Capability is critical in enabling quality business growth by empowering Mars associates to generate business insights efficiently and make better decisions.

The role of Digital Data Analytics Associate Director will be responsible for creating and re-applying best practices of digital data capability solutions for China MW business. 

1. Unlock growth opportunities (e.g. use data to inform business strategy decisions on where to play and how to win).

2. Enable forward looking business decision for digital transformation

3. Optimize investment efficiency (e.g. understand dcom and offline promotion investment drivers and enable business for better investment efficiency).

What are we looking for?

- 10+ years’ digital data analytics experience with proven track record in a complex business environment

- Strategically-minded, contributes to the development of a coherent overarching strategic vision for the company

- Track record in interacting with and influence senior global leaders; synthesize and present results to senior executives

- Hands-on experience implementing digital retail or enterprise solutions

Strong knowledge of data technologies including database and visualization; and strong knowledge on digital-commerce business

- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” and “get it done” mentality, with ability to change direction seamlessly and motivate team members

- Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals.

- Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills; a direct communicator

What will be your key responsibilities?

The Digital Data Analytics Associate Director will report to Digital Data & Analytics Director. He or She is responsible for re-applying existing or creating digital Data Analytics Capability to improve business savviness on D&A adoption into business operations, and organizational savvy on Data analytics capability, as well as to develop new capability considering data readiness, technology readiness, and organization readiness.

Key responsibilities of Digital Data Analytics Associate Director include:

1. Lead execution of digital data strategies and one-demand data analytics (ODDA) strategy to deliver tangible business value.

2. Engage senior business leaders locally, evaluate and recommend a path from current situation to future solution set, and co-define the success measures.

3. Engage business team to develop right analysis framework to drive data insights to actions and tangible business results.

4. Lead cross-functional virtual team (including sales, HI, media, CRM, S&F, supply, and R&D, etc.) in BUs to execute the analysis framework to develop organizational data capability and talents to generate actionable business insights.

5. Leverage the technology foundations (including report automation, data visualization, and data integration, etc.) to enable associates to access required data transparently, efficiently, and conveniently.

6. Collaborate and be a key Data Analytics partner to empower the other digital work streams (including Intelligent Reach, Product Innovation, Sales, Finance, potentially Supply) in digital transformation.

7. Work with various Mars Service providers (i.e. Mars hosting group, strategic external partners) to ensure that all initiatives are executed with the most effective, fit-for-purpose within defined project management frame.
