As a strong leader located in our Office in Shanghai and a member of the extended Executive Committee of Kistler Group, you move Kistler China into the center of gravity of the Kistler Group by implementing our China strategy of profitable growth.

Chief Operating Officer Kistler China

Your Tasks:

  • Manages all operations of the Operation Center China (OC) which comprises all functions needed to deal with customers in any aspect
  • Operational responsibility for local strategy implementation
  • Responsibility for top line and profitability of China operations
  • Ensure above average growth of Kistler China
  • Responsible to drive the localization of Kistler Products fwd, in alignment with the group.
  • Leads the Operation Center including BC (Business Center), Sales and Operations.
  • Ensures thorough information flow and understanding about China market of OE's and BU's to facilitate their global strategy development.
  • Local implementation of the OE / BU and PF strategies for China incl. Sales and Service; formulate and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies in accordance with the Group growth plans & priorities
  • Business development; keep up to date with market requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the companies' managers and staff; manages the OC in line with the KBS (Kistler Business System) and the top line goals, cost frames and KPI's derived from the MTP and agreed with the CEO.
  • Breaks down and communicates targets and KPI's according to the local organization structure and ensures matching performance of BC, Sales and Operations.
  • Aligns all OC teams towards the common strategy and targets of Kistler China.
  • Manage sales by implementation and execution of the sales strategies, guidelines and targets; develop customer relationships, channel partners.
  • Ensures smooth communication and execution of tasks among all teams within the OC and with the SPC.

Your Profile:

  • More than 10 years experience in a Multi National Company leading a China operations or China local CEO function with P&L responsibility.
  • Proven track record in generating profitable growth
  • Track record in successfully driving localization initiatives.
  • Global mentality / cultural awareness dealing in Eastern and Western (preferably DACH) business environments
  • High degree of integrity and loyalty.
  • Customer Centricity: able to build up / maintain high level customer networks.
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English (C1)
  • Personality with entrepreneurial experience
  • Winning mentality and capable to deliver agreed results.
  • Passion for technology, having worked for companies with own technology and high-end products.
