The Senior Financial Analyst has responsibility for supporting the development and implementation of the respective markets' Business Strategy, partnering the business providing commercial advice and insight for Great China market. The job holder is also responsible for all Finance, Statutory (Legal & Taxation), governance & controlling activities related to HK and TW and at the same time participate in CN operations.

Responsibilities:

Finance Business Partnering (HK and TW Market)

Lead or partner in the commercial and financial evaluation of business initiatives with action-oriented recommendations; Provide support and insight to the market leaders, their Leadership Teams and other regional teams into the main variances to sales, margin and cost; Support the budget and forecast process by providing insight into current variances and future events; Provide timely and insightful ad-hoc analysis to support GC/APAC/Group needs; Support Sales, Marketing and PSM to ensure we make sound financial/commercial decisions; Lead the full P&L management process and cost base reduction initiatives through Operational Excellence Projects; Ensure all Regional & Group reporting requirements are completed on a timely basis with quality; Liaise with CoE and outsourced service provider to ensure fully compliant local Statutory Accounts are filed on time; Liaise with CoE to ensure compliance with local statutory/regulatory practices; Ensure local credit management policies balances risk and reward; Always ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures, and foster a culture of compliance and control within the market; Work with Credit team to assess risks and monitor collections; Supervise the processes for Marketing Spending;

Forecasting & Budgeting – Support GC Finance BP to

Transform the GC strategy into short and long-range plans with annual operating and capital budgets; Forecast operating and profitability performance and agree annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Participate in building up a bottom's up rolling forecast process with commercial rationale, and continually improve the financial forecasting process for the Region, including CI (Continuous Improvement) and automation; Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives and use scenario and sensitivity analysis to forecast possible outcomes; Ensure that timely and accurate view of sales and margin KPI budgets and forecasts are available at GC level during the budget and forecast periods; Proactive in proposing action to ensure accurate budget and forecasting of strategic Sales and Marketing KPIs is achieved.

Requirements:

Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with experience of working in global environments; A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in finance and/or comparable Finance Business Partner or FP&A roles; Highly sensitive to data and financials, dealing task with sense of urgency; Experience with audit firms or internal control are highly desired; Be able to cooperate with colleagues at the Market Leadership level; Able to communicate financial status of functional operations and highlight key areas of focus. Very high level of business acumen; Well developed analysis, insight generation and communications skills; Reporting, forecasting and budgeting capability and decision support capability; Developed successful relationships with Group stakeholders and with internal colleagues at all levels within a company, ideally within a matrix based structure; Contribution to the development of an organisation's growth strategy through effective development of business relationships; Strong exposure to, and appreciation of, risk management from a commercial perspective. Fluent in Business English writing and speaking. Exceptional communication and team skills combined with strong interpersonal and negotiations skills. An informal yet committed and pragmatic approach. Driven and ambitious, but with a long-term approach to achieving these goals. Charismatic and high levels of enthusiasm and energy. Ability to empathise with and learn from the technical expertise and commercial experience from peers and colleagues at all levels. Down-to-earth, a hands-on and non-ostentatious approach. Positive outlook, looks to the future for opportunity and constantly challenges the status quo. Experienced in managing through change and not afraid to make unpopular decisions. Personable, but with an edge; enthusiastic, team-oriented and able to lead by example.

Desirable:

SAP, BO, BI and OneStream experience Good at Excel and powerpoint; Other data analysis tools eg. Power BI will be a plus;
