YOUR ROLE
  • Optimize the e2e value chain demand-to-supply to improve supplier performance level with proactive supplier engagements, supplier quality level & Raw / Packs inventory & consignment stock.
  • Supports the sourcing categories in bringing contractual agreements to a higher level of maturity and standardization with regards to risk mitigation, operational performance and supply chain optimization (MOQ, Incoterm, Lead Time).
  • Ensure supply continuity & manage all critical shortages & FM's avoiding out of stocks & impact on NES.
  • Ensure consistent global documentation & reporting on supply disruptions & defined supply resilience KPIs in the region.
  • Enhance usage of tool & BI dashboard on supplier performance, supply disruption and proactive risk mitigation & Tier-1 data.
  • Lead local supplier performance evaluations and drive supplier improvement projects to enhance innovation, quality, reduce cost and improve service/efficiency.
  • Identify and elevate areas of risk management and develop actionable mitigation plans with regional alignment.
  • Implement sourcing strategy in local new product development projects and manage purchasing activities with project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a multi-functional network of local stakeholders and support for execution of the regional and even global strategy at all levels.
  • Develop subject matter expert of local market intelligence to collaborate with regional team to drive for the supplier full potential.
  • Provide leadership in local purchasing process with regional alignment and actively look for improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the sustainability topic in responsible plants to ensure sustainable supplier base to meet corporate sustainability target.

  • Develop data analytic skills.
YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree majoring in Supply Chain / Business Administration / Chemical.
  • 3-5 years' working experience from chemical related or manufacturing industry.
  • Data analytical skills would be a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese.
  • Excellent communication, questioning, and presentation skills.
