Job Description

Empower your passion for data and make a real impact by joining our Data Engineering team as an Intern

You can gain valuable hands-on experience in data operations and contribute to critical business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with experienced professionals, tackling real-world challenges and developing sought-after data skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You can have professional mentoring and coaching sessions accelerating your growth in both technology and personal.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute data operation tasks alongside data engineers, ensuring smooth data flow for critical business intelligence initiatives.
  • Follow up on data-related tickets raised by end users of Business Intelligence (BI) products.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and end users to validate data, improving accuracy and reliability of information.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data operations processes and procedures

Expected Internship Duration:

  • This internship is a 6-month commitment, requiring at least 3 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (including a one-hour lunch break).
  • Performance-based extension is possible.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and end users.
  • Sense of ownership and accountability towards assigned tasks and projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Airflow and Python for automation and workflow management.
  • Basic knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of AWS big data services, including but not limited to S3, Redshift, Glue, and DMS.
