Overview

This position will lead the supply chain (SC) transformation strategy development and implementation across APAC markets to generate business value and enhance capabilities, including SC process redesign and execution, Global Business Services (GBS) design and transitions. It involves collaborating with GBS hub teams and transition teams to provide top-notch services to markets, optimizing end-to-end processes, and more.

This role will oversee white space analysis, GBS designs, transitions, establish robust governance models with Business Units (BU) and GBS teams, and manage IT projects to enhance business process efficiency. Collaboration with change management and communications teams is key to ensure effective and engaging strategies for transformation projects. The role demands strong cross-functional abilities to work with SC, Finance, Global Procurement (GP), IT, HR, and GBS ecosystem teams.

This position is location-flexible across the APAC region but preferably based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Drive SC transformation strategy design and execution for APAC, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met by engaging with Global, Sector, and BU SC stakeholders.
  • Lead SC design and GBS transition processes across APAC markets, responsible for delivering business case outcomes as required.
  • Support the global SC transformation program rollout in APAC markets.
  • Manage SC process transformation from design to implementation, developing it as a core capability for the SC team.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by simplifying processes, standardizing them, and leveraging technology effectively.
  • Build the SC Transformation team to address daily challenges and achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate and influence PepsiCo stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Lead transformation workstreams to meet GBS transition requirements, foster strong relationships between BU-GBS Functional Leaders, and establish a governance framework for efficient operations and performance reviews.
  • Lead Change Management to drive organizational changes smoothly with minimal disruption, reshaping roles and responsibilities within the organization effectively.
  • Establish a robust governance model to ensure service excellence in all transitions and deliveries, improving the GBS experience.

People Responsibilities

  • Engage key stakeholders in SC design and transition to drive necessary changes in working methods.
  • Provide guidance and support to the SC Transformation team to effectively collaborate with BU and GBS SC organizations.
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure a seamless transition of processes within the organization.
  • Continuously review the SC Organization to promote agility, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in leading transformations and driving changes effectively.
  • Ability to interact well with groups from diverse cultures, functions, and levels, even when dealing with conflicting priorities.
  • Skilled at engaging the right individuals in decision-making across the organization and keeping them informed of progress.
  • Deep knowledge of PepsiCo's business, particularly in SC and end-to-end working processes.
  • Effective communication skills with strong influencing ability, logical and strategic thinking.
  • Results-oriented with the capability to initiate and lead projects to completion.
  • Experience in project management and preferably Lean Six Sigma.
  • Flexible, reliable, and accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Language proficiency: English - business fluent.
  • Possesses agility and adaptability to change, able to work proactively with multi-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in business transformation is preferred.
  • Global perspective to balance unique market requirements while driving solutions and results.
