Job Description

Project Cost Controller at Turner & Townsend

A project-based role responsible for managing costs and cashflow, overseeing document control tasks, and supporting construction management. The role involves working closely with the Project Manager and Project Controls team to ensure successful project delivery while assessing potential risks. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Cost Controller plays a key role in maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Interact with Project Manager and key project stakeholders to establish work scope and develop strategies aligned with the project master plan.
  • Provide support and advice to the Project Manager on all aspects of Project Controls.
  • Act as the primary interface with the Project Controls department.
  • Ensure site construction projects adhere to global work processes, reports, and procedures.
  • Monitor project scope and deliverables, apply change management processes, and review estimates for changes.
  • Coordinate Lesson Learned sessions for projects involving all stakeholders.
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in project cost controlling in life science/pharma construction projects
  • Experience in forecasting, budget management, and cash flows
  • Ability to collaborate with multifunctional stakeholders and work with Excel and SAP
