Job Description

We are looking for a Component Developer for H&M Intimates team. As a Component Developer, you have ownership of the entire component development process, overseeing risk assessment and ensuring quality according to H&M's standards with the best price.

Here we transform design ideas into actual products. We are in multiple sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Secure the best options in terms of quality, price, and lead time, aligning with customer expectations and sustainability goals. Utilize a deep understanding of the Assortment concept, customer preferences, and strategic goals to identify suitable suppliers and maintain a sustainable T2 supplier base. Understand fashion trends and interpret global shifts to source new components from reliable suppliers. Develop suppliers within the product flow, fostering capabilities growth, managing complexity, and promoting self-reliance aligned with customer expectations. Identify and develop new accessories, emphasizing sustainability in both soft and hard-liner components. Collaborate with the development and business teams to communicate and maintain a transparent component strategy, ensuring the entire team is informed and aligned. Qualifications

As the Component Developer, you have fashion sensibility with very strong technical knowledge on swimwear fabrics and a deep understanding of material costing, sustainable standards, and component attributes. You have good global market knowledge and the strong negotiation skills to seek out and implement further opportunities that could strengthen our customer offer.

With the understanding of Assortment concept and customer as well as strategy and goals - you identify the right suppliers to maintain a sustainable T2 supplier base. You understand the fashion trends and interpret global trends in new components with suitable suppliers.

You are responsible for developing suppliers in the product flow in terms of capabilities growth, complexity level, and ensuring alignment on customer understanding towards self-reliance.

It is important to have a proactive and problem-solving approach to both identify and apply solutions to challenges connected to product development. Together with development team and business team – communicate and ensure a transparent component strategy, where full global team is updated and aligned.

What you need to succeed:

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in similar role if an international brand Outgoing personality, work efficiently. Experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders. A flexible, positive, and inspirational team player

Additional Information

This is a fulltime position , starting as soon as possible according to agreement. The role is an on-site position, apply by sending in your CV in English as soon as possible.
