Context

Recognized as reliable and knowledgeable expert, connecting risk insights with business context. Serves as an senior advisor to business managers based on broad experience in risk management in several business areas.

Plays a leading role on a limited number of assignments and in alignment with stakeholders. Deploys expert knowledge to review the day-to-day activities within the business area, across functional areas and their relationships and provides recommendations.

Acts as a trusted business partner for one sector.

Requirements

Master degree with substantial general work experience together with comprehensive risk and assurance experience to fully competent level or equivalent working and thinking level.

Strong emphasis on independence and ability to manage medium complexity tasks. Able to work in a lead assignment role for assignments with medium complexity.

Responsibilities

Organizational Risk Management

Support and improve the design, implementation and operating effectiveness of ASML Integrated Risk Management process incl 3-lines of responsibility model, methodology and tooling.

Verify management over key risks and controls, to ensure 1st line is 'in control'.

Stakeholder Management

Identify and manage stakeholders up to senior management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns, and reacting to these to create mutually supportive working relationships.

Acts as a trusted business partner for one sector.

Data Collection and Analysis

Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.

Recommendations

Challenge management and provide risk management recommendations to achieve business objectives.

Policy Development & Implementation

Develop procedures and interprets and applies policy for area of expertise, or advise the business on application of policy and monitor implementation within the organization.

Client & Customer Management (Internal)

Act as a business partner to internal customers and manage relationships with them, while taking guidance from senior colleagues.

Needs Assessment

Uncover issues or needs, identifying potential causes and key stakeholders.

Building capability

Acts as mentor and examiner for more junior colleagues.
