Job Description:

  • Evaluate and offer technical security architecture advice on the design and implementation of products
  • Provide technical expertise on security topics such as Cloud, e-Commerce, IoT, Endpoint, Network, and Servers
  • Maintain and enhance a comprehensive cybersecurity reference architecture
  • Support the creation of reusable technologies and software within our product range
  • Collaborate closely with key product development leaders to ensure security is integrated into all customer-facing products
  • Assist in integrating security throughout the product development process
  • Analyze product security business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for enhancement, and assist in implementing solutions
  • Lead security initiatives to ensure continuous enhancement of security integration into the product development lifecycle
  • Engage with business and product leaders to conduct regular reviews of processes for consistent application of secure development best practices
  • Establish relationships with product development stakeholders to enhance product and application security processes
  • Delve deeply into the assigned line of business to gain a thorough understanding of the products and support them throughout their lifecycle
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and standards requirements for relevant products and communicate these to product development stakeholders
  • Ensure product portfolio data for the assigned line of business is integrated into the Product Security Database
  • Act as a liaison for security-related customer requests following established procedures
  • Coordinate and participate in Security Testing activities with internal Product and Software Security teams
  • Contribute to the refinement of processes, policies, and standards guidance
  • Educate key stakeholders on program importance and risks related to security in products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional units to identify and address security vulnerabilities in products and platforms
  • Ensure consistency, documentation, and process excellence across all programs
  • Stay updated on new technology developments and assess their impact on the security program
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Risk Management, Internal Audit, HR, Legal, etc., to address compliance issues
  • Travel up to 25% and on-call/after-hours duties as needed

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Assurance, Information Security, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, or Computer Science (Master's Degree a plus) or equivalent field experience

Experience

  • 4+ years of related work experience in product security, secure software development, risk assessment, or vulnerability management
  • 4+ years working as an architect or engineer in Cloud, e-Commerce, IoT, Endpoint, Network, or Servers

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong skills in analyzing and evaluating processes and methods
  • Comprehensive understanding of device research methods, variables, and parameters
  • Thorough grasp of security controls
  • Effective interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Technical proficiency in networking and communication protocols
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and standards requirements, particularly for medical devices
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to link new threats to IoT portfolio and implement mitigation strategies
  • Familiarity with application security standards like OWASP ASVS, Top 10, CSC 20, etc.
  • Capability to advocate and explain security concepts effectively
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, and product management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Relevant technical certifications are a bonus
