Job Description

  • Work Arrangement: This position is based on a full-time onsite commitment.

The Role

  • Develop digital models to create aesthetic surfaces for a variety of programs in the global vehicle development process, both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate digital and physical surface quality and assist studio personnel in overcoming engineering and design challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineering and creative design representatives to ensure released surfaces meet design, engineering, and release standards.
  • Provide guidance to junior sculpting resources and take a lead role on projects and initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Create digital models of aesthetic surfaces for assigned programs, meeting time and quality targets set by Sculpting Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering stakeholders in a group setting and lead capacity, following established modeling procedures and best practices.
  • Interpret design input into 3D models, staying updated on current and upcoming product technology trends.
  • Mentor junior resources and lead projects and initiatives when required.
