Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Engineer to join our China Digital Engineering team. In this role, you will primarily focus on backend and devops technologies, playing a key role in delivering various digital products in the life science and laboratory industry at Thermofisher. Additionally, you may work together with other teams to support AI and other applications.

Responsibilities:

Works as Devops expert who supports developers, implements best practices, and ensures smooth code deployment to production servers. They optimize software development processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability, with expertise in operating system design and database management systems software installation.

Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge.

Maintain an open approach towards learning and working with new technologies and tech stacks beyond application CI/CD, APM, Monitoring and alerting, Security engineering practice.

Collaborate effectively within a team and actively supply knowledge and insights.

Demonstrate curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and industry trends.

Be ready to work in an intensity and fast delivery working mode when required.

Requirements:

Shown experience with the common devops working model and best practice in CI/CD & APM framework;

Experience as a Backend technical architect, with a strong ability to design devsecops solutions.

Familiarity with technologies such as Docker Container, K8S, Jenkins, FluxCD, Github Actions, Splunk, datadog or signalFx;

Proficiency in common public and private cloud such as AWS or Ali-cloud;

Willingness to learning and practicing new languages and frameworks, with the ability to make informed decisions during technical design.

Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and ideas.

Curiosity and passion for staying updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Ability to work in an intensity and fast delivery working mode when required.
