Description

We are looking for a highly skilled product consultant to join our APAC team as an Online Tech Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in acquiring new businesses, assisting customers in integrating with Sabre APIs and related products, and adjusting their workflows to align with both customer and Sabre's business objectives.

You will utilize your extensive knowledge of online technologies, industry trends, and best practices to offer expert advice to customers and internal stakeholders. As a member of the Commercial & Services team, you will support presales, implementation, and continuous optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Sabre product expert

Be the primary resource for Sabre APIs and other relevant online business products.

Presales

  • Inspect and document the customer's current situation, focusing on their business challenges.
  • Create a solution architecture document to tackle the issues and generate opportunities.
  • Show how specific Sabre products can benefit the customer, which may involve hosting technical workshops for the customer's product and tech team.

Implementation

  • Provide training and technical guidance to the customer's tech team, ensuring they utilize optimized workflows and Sabre products.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition from the customer's existing setup to full integration with Sabre.
  • Record the customer's workflows and their alignment with Sabre APIs and other products.

Optimization

  • Regularly engage with the customer to maintain the partnership and uncover opportunities.
  • Promote Sabre products to the customer to enhance technology adoption.
  • Advocate for the customer's needs to Sabre's product teams.

Team player

  • Collaborate with Sabre's commercial leaders and account team members to drive customer interactions and pursue new business.
  • Utilize the product and tech expertise of the regional team effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Sabre's product teams, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Customer technical manager

  • Act as the technology face of Sabre to our customers, nurturing relationships with their tech leaders and teams.
  • Stay informed about our customers' Sabre integration status and future plans.
  • Regularly engage with customers through scheduled meetings, tech reviews, and Sabre events.
  • Advocate for customers' needs to Sabre's Product/Marketing team by articulating ongoing solutions and investment requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the travel industry, particularly in end-to-end workflows of online travel agencies and operational know-how.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs is preferred.
  • Capability to lead projects and teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences internally and externally.
  • Experience in presenting solutions to customers for upselling.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years in the travel industry.
