The Senior Account Manager (SAM) manages the partner relationships for a portfolio of high-value managed and top-managed partners.

The main objective of the SAM is to implement a prioritized partnership strategy within their portfolio to achieve designated commercial and product targets, including frequent travel for regular business reviews.

The SAM is encouraged to work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, internally and externally. Internally, the SAM will work with central teams to give feedback on improvements needed on internal and external tools and products, and will work closely with the Connectivity team to share advanced knowledge of connectivity opportunities with partners. Furthermore, the SAM will work with local Account Managers/Account Executives to share knowledge and expertise. Where the SAM's portfolio is made up of mostly chain-type properties, they will also work closely with the Key Account Manager for the chain to ensure the aligned strategic goals are driven at local level.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support strategy & delivery initiatives and vision for regional / national group partners and/or high value properties.
  • Ability to consult, support and collaborate with internal stakeholders in leading partners to optimize performance of partners, like connectivity providers, central teams, (Sr.) key account managers and local offices.
  • Responsible for being a great partner to decision makers of regional / national /local group partners or high value properties and driving performance.
  • Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of B.V. products, local market and operations of partners managed.
  • Ability to independently lead projects

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3 years of demonstrated ability in relevant regional account management function dealing with sophisticated / high value partners
  • Ability to manage portfolio of single property partners as well as sophisticated multi property partners
  • Good understanding of revenue, channel and distribution management
  • Ability to connect with and influence different internal and external partners
  • Good ability to read and interpret multiple data sources in order to define short/medium/long-term goals
  • Positive relationship and leadership skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
  • Consistent track record in leading cross-functional teams in an international environment
  • Analytical skills
  • Travel for work to the market for up to 50% of the time
