Overview
We are currently in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team. We need someone proactive and enthusiastic with solid accounting knowledge and great communication skills. In this role, you will be reporting to the Manager of Greater China Accounting, supporting the Global Accounts Receivable department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of cash receipts, collaborating with clients for precise billing documents, and liaising with sales professionals to maintain precise collection records. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain internal controls to ensure proper recording and billing of transactions, adhering to internal commercial policies and accounting principles.
- Coordinate with Sales and Accounting teams to reconcile Fapiaos, invoices, and client charges.
- Review client statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist customers in determining correct billing requirements and sending accurate billing documents promptly.
- Follow up with customers on overdue payments and guide Accounting for correct cash application.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts receivable and bad debt within the Greater China sector, providing relevant reports for stakeholders.
- Support other administrative and accounting tasks as necessary.
An ideal candidate should have the following:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounting experience, including knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, and collections.
- Experience with multinational corporations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced small team environment.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure high quality.
- Independence in work approach.
- Experience with Great Plains and Salesforce is advantageous.
