Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Researcher

The successful candidate will contribute to research and development projects within the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre. She/He will report to the head of the AIRC and be responsible for the following tasks:
Identify, explore and develop new research opportunities for creating value to DNV's business activities and future strategy. Develop cutting-edge AI technologies both for enhancing current services and shaping the future, including deliveries of PoC, demonstrators and prototypes, to achieve our leading position. Technical directions include, but are not limited to: self-supervised learning, reinforcement learning, image generation, large models, multimodal learning, etc. Conduct forward-looking research related to DNV's business areas through interdisciplinary, interdepartmental, and cross-time zone collaboration. Conduct research and development for assurance of AI technologies and tools, to ensure AI safety and security. Cross-disciplinary collaboration to conduct research in multiple areas, including digital assurance, maritime, energy, precision medicine and other DNV's related business. Write technical reports, publish position and white papers, present results to internal and external stakeholders. Good coding skills and communications skills are required. Proficient English communication (speaking and writing). Priority will be given to candidates with papers in relevant fields such as NIPS/ICLR/ICML and those with strong programming or academic competition experience. Familiar with the mainstream machine learning algorithms. Familiar with AI testing and assurance technology is a plus.-
