About the Position

Responsible for driving sales of AIA products and services through a network of agents to achieve individual and team targets as well as AIA business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy and Planning: Develop mid to long-term business plans, layout, and tactical strategies based on overall business strategies, ensuring rapid, high-quality, and sustainable growth.
  • Performance Achievement: Break down key performance indicators, control business rhythm, execute decisively to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Build Key Business Capabilities: Establish and optimize basic business operation platforms, create scalable business systems to support future organizational upgrades.
  • Customer-Centricity: Implement local customer strategies and customer segmentation, lead the team in providing comprehensive, professional protection and health services to customers, becoming a trusted partner.
  • Culture, Organization, and Team: Implement and cultivate internal and external cultural development within the organization, develop and manage the organization's team, select and develop core talents, and establish an internal rotation system for talent development.
  • Localization of External Regulatory Management and Relationship Maintenance: Establish strong, mutually trusting relationships with local regulatory bodies, industry associations, other relevant insurance institutions, media, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance Risk and Local Responsibility: Understand compliance and risk management principles and requirements, anticipate risks, and implement risk and compliance regulations into daily operational management of the city, taking on local responsibilities for risk control and compliance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, with over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 2 years or more as a city head/large business area manager.
  • Experience managing at least 2 cities or non-adjacent business areas, with a track record of achieving breakthroughs in performance.
  • 1 year or more of experience working in the Agency Middle Office department.
  • Willing to embrace new challenges and uncertainties, accepting the developmental approach of AIA's talent reserve program.
  • Strong geographical mobility, capable of national travel.
