Your Role

Join the Artificial Intelligence Technology team in Shanghai to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI and ML-driven applications for support functions. We adhere to a comprehensive ML application lifecycle approach, commencing with Exploratory Data Analysis and culminating in the deployment of robust ML solutions to production environments, along with their ongoing maintenance and enhancement. In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate the prerequisites for developing ML services within the Support Delivery sphere.
  • Create and refine advanced machine learning algorithms delivering resilient situational assessments and predictive functionalities.
  • Explore, grasp, and implement the latest AI advancements, such as Large Language Models, Generative AI, among others.
  • Architect and establish extensive training and deployment systems utilizing multiple GPUs and servers, specialized hardware, multi-threading, and parallel processing.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to construct data and model pipelines.
  • Proficiently handle and analyze real-world datasets.
  • Strive for enhanced automation and readiness for cloud operations.
  • Enhance system quality and scalability through continuous assessment, analysis, and enhancement of the implementation.

Your Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving capabilities coupled with a fervor for Machine Learning.
  • Solid grounding in computer science, with notable expertise in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and software design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, especially Python.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following cloud-related technologies & concepts: Kubernetes, Docker, Kubeflow, or other IaaS/PaaS environments.
  • In-depth understanding of constructing, validating, and appraising machine learning models, along with practical experience in machine learning evaluation metrics and best practices.
  • Practical exposure to designing, training, and assessing deep learning models.
  • Hands-on experience in working with big data and SQL/NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL, Spark, Redis, ElasticSearch.
  • Fluency in English, encompassing verbal and written communication proficiencies.
  • Creative thinking ability and a keenness to swiftly grasp new concepts and technologies.
  • Adept at collaborative work within a team environment.

Desired Skills / Supplementary

  • Proficiency with version control tools such as git.
  • Experience handling substantial real-world datasets.
  • Familiarity with contemporary DevOps methodologies and the capacity to establish CI/CD processes.
  • Background in Agile methodologies.
  • Over 5 years of development expertise, comprising over 3 years of commercial/academic background in machine learning.
