Mechanical R&D Engineer

In your new role you will:

  • The mechanical design of power modules (e.g. DCB layout, chip placement, routing and bonding) according to customer specification and production design rules
  • Evaluating the product manufacturability, in cooperation with process engineers in the production line
  • Generating the necessary technical documentation for internal approvals
  • Acting as central contact point for technical drawings within the R&D customization team
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields
  • Previous R&D work experience in the area of mechanical design / layouting of electrical components
  • Direct experience with power modules design is a plus
  • Proficient in CAD-Software like Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Autocad
  • Proficient in Chinese and English language both in written and spoken. Capable to communicate openly, clearly, and coherently.
  • Structured way of working with attention to details and engineering mindset
  • Think and act in a cooperative way and strengthen the team spirit.
  • Working experience with distributed international teams would be a plus.
