What Will You Be Doing?

Under the role of Consumer & Market Insight (CMI): Gather and generate insights on market/competition, consumer, and culture trends for APAC markets (priority being China and Japan in the next 3 years.) Synthesizes insights and provide recommendations for initiatives to drive the business performance and brand development. Build and maintain research platform & projects to impact business decisions, and create a consumer centric culture in the organization.

Under the role of Corporate Strategy Support (CSS): Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team, Strategic Planning team, and APAC business teams to gain insights into our corporate/business strategy in APAC. Provide assistance in developing playbooks, organizing offsites, and devising growth plans for the APAC region.

Establish quarterly ANF and competition brands tracking and social listening tracking to assess awareness/purchase intent/brand perception movement Partner with APAC merchants, marketing, EC ops and other business teams to identify knowledge gap or needs in consumer validation (including but not limited to product design preferences, marketing creatives optimization), and design research methodologies/ carry out research to close the gap/ consumer validationPartner with CRM/ Data Analytics team in developing a clear picture of consumer journey and consumer segmentations to allow building an automation platform and specific effective actions to covert Gather relevant competitive landscape view in partnership with EC ops team for online business and industry report for offline Regularly share out industry and culture trends from key markets Assist in the development of APAC strategy tactics, including playbooks, offsites, and growth plans, by providing support such as PPT development and data analytics.

What Do You Need To Bring?

Functional: Over 8 years of proven marketing research experience at a research firm with robust ability in research methodological assessment and quantitative methodsIndustry: market research firm/ brand company/ management consulting firm with a focus on apparel/sportswear/FMCGBachelor's degree in business related discipline is requiredStrong collaborator, result/solution-driven, resilient, effective communicator in Chinese and in English– both verbal & writtenPossesses a genuine passion for brand storytelling and fashion
