Senior Technical Support Engineer

- Utilize advanced engineering skills and simulation techniques to provide top-tier technical support to customers and Channel Partners
- Follow support protocols to deliver high-quality, prompt customer service leading to satisfaction
- Develop expertise in one or more simulation domains
- Provide input for product enhancement, submit defect reports, and validate fixes following defect reporting protocols. Engage in field testing of new releases to ensure new features meet customer needs
- Support Sales and Marketing through demos, webinars, online training, and other activities as necessary
- Contribute to strategic team and company initiatives as required
- Minimum educational attainment: BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: 5 years post Bachelor's, 3 years post Master's, or straight out of a PhD program
- Experience with Ansys software or familiarity with other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages
- Expertise in one or more Ansys simulation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective interpersonal and communication abilities, proficient in English
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, a sense of urgency
- Exhibit professionalism, business acumen, and a drive for success
- 2 years of experience in using finite volume or finite element techniques for simulating fluid flows
- 2 years of hands-on experience in CFD modeling of industrial applications utilizing tools like Ansys Fluent or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in CFD modeling of fluids and thermal systems
- 2 years of experience in acoustics modeling
- Skilled in workflow customization or automation using programming languages such as C++, Python
- 2 years of experience with parallel computing
- Preferred educational background and professional experience in an engineering software environment: 8 years post Bachelor's, 6 years post Master's, or 3 years post PhD
- 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving engineering simulation software, demonstrating proficiency in identifying customer needs, communicating solutions effectively, and delivering results
- Ability to travel nationally up to 10% of the time
