Responsible for Shanghai Trading Office GL and AR booking and basic analyst. Direct report to Finance Supervisor.Client DetailsChemical industry client. China business is very stable and holds a high market share. Offers a positive culture and excellent employee benefits.DescriptionAccounting, Reporting & Regulatory Compliance
  • To comply with statutory and local accounting and financial regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory accounting records.
  • Complete accounting books in compliance with China GAAP/IFRS and perform reconciliations.
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Handle Accounts Receivable for all business units in China to ensure accurate and timely accounting transactions.
  • Process AR transactions, including cash application and internal trade payments.
  • Act as a point of contact for AR process inquiries.
  • Prepare weekly AR aging reports and notify supervisor of any late payments.
  • Monitor customer payments to ensure compliance with credit limits and terms.
Inventory
  • Support inventory accounting and reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of inventory-related accounts.
Cash Management Support
  • Review payments and ensure approval with valid evidence.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts related to AR.
Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Support
  • Assist with FP&A tasks, such as expense analysis.
  • Handle other business-related tasks as needed.
Profile
  • University degree in accounting, finance, or related field in China.
  • Hold a professional accounting qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of GL and AR, preferably in the Chemical industry.
  • Familiar with foreign exchange regulations and remittance procedures.
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and China PRC GAAP.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
