Position Summary

This role involves conducting inspections during the manufacturing processes for medical devices to ensure quality standards are met. Additionally, the position supports technology transfer, continuous improvement, and other tasks assigned by the QC supervisor.

The role reports directly to the QC supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspections at various stages of manufacturing, such as incoming, in-process, final inspection, and release.
  • Utilizing tools and methods like visual and dimensional inspection as per documented plans and procedures.
  • Identifying conforming and non-conforming parts, documenting defects, and escalating issues for resolution.
  • Adhering to medical device GMP and GDP requirements.
  • Following safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience, preferably within the medical device sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings and experienced in using calibrated gauges, hand tools, and microscopes for quality control.
  • Basic proficiency in reading English words.
