Buyer Opportunity at ABB

Your Role:
  • Handle indirect material purchase requests to support local business needs such as equipment, facilities, office supplies, IT products, and more
  • Work with various departments for demand analysis, budgeting, and standardization
  • Establish agreements with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery and payment
  • Operate e-sourcing/e-auction tools when required
  • Support administration activities, manage facilities, and assist with various tasks such as event management and labor union activities
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and assist with various marketing activities
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for International trade/Business management
  • Less than 2 years of work experience, ideally in indirect buying within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and result-oriented
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
