As a Buyer for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, You will be responsible for handling indirect material purchase requests to support local business, e.g. Manufacture / testing equipment and system, factory facilities, service requirement, office supply, IT products, consumable items, hotel/meeting/event request and so on. Asking and evaluating quotation from suppliers, RFx/negotiating price and commercial terms with suppliers as needed.

Your responsibilities
  • Executing the indirect purchasing activities according with purchasing procedure, defining, and establishing local standard agreements with related suppliers if necessary
  • Responding to the requests from business, providing feedback timely and coordinating actively for problem solving
  • Coordinating with IM&S team for common categories strategy execution, solve delivery or quality issues to fulfill the requests from business departments
  • Working with business departments for demand analysis and demand management, including budgeting, forecasting and standardization
  • Being responsible for indirect purchase PR creation for CC and sent to suppliers (about 400+ orders per year)
  • Tracking the goods, collect the invoice and request GR, notice the payment etc.
  • Being responsible for operation of e-sourcing/e-auction tool as needed
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably International trade / Business management major
  • Less than 2 Years of Work Experience is acceptable, preferably with indirect buyer background in manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Ability to work in systematic and structured manner to ensure tasks are performed efficiently with minimal use of resources, time and effort.
  • Analytical and influence others, drive self-learning and keep continuous Improvement.
  • Teamwork spirit and good communication & coordination skills
  • Business level in verbal and written English
