As a R&D Senior Engineer for Electrification Business Area in Jiangmen, China, you will be responsible for production/product technical problem solving, identifies root cause of problems and prevent the similar problems in the future.

Your responsibilities
  • Leading and executing the complex component second source, e.g., PCBA
  • Leading and executing the product localization project to ensure timeframe, quality, and cost requirements
  • Leading of engineering change implementation in manufacturing unit
  • Clarifying product/part requirement and perform sample evaluation
  • Problem solving (participation to QC level 2) and provide the technical support for production issues analyzing & solving
  • Supporting PFMEA evaluation and supplier audit
  • Providing support to production and other departments during the internal/external process/equipment start-up
  • Defining the product testing parameter and working instruction
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Power electronics, Control engineering, Automation, Mechatronics etc.
  • At least 10 years working experience in power electronics industry with min. 5 years' experience in electronic product design, 3 years' experience in project management
  • Good knowledge of common low voltage equipment. (MCCB, ATS, EOL, Contactor, Soft Starter) Including device function, system structure and related standard
  • Practical knowledge of SW and HW design process, tools and life circle management
  • Proficient in power electronics theory and related power electronics topology, good knowledge of analogue and digital circuit, good understanding of electronical drawing, experience in EMC & environment test for electronic devices.
  • Understand the basic framework, logic, compilation, and burning of firmware, STM32 or CORTEX M3/M4 microcontroller development experience is preferred
  • Have strong analytical skills, know how to observe, analyze the results caused by process changes or design issue, and takes rapid actions to prevent them beforehand. And familiar with quality tools. (e.g., 8D, PPAP, MSA, CPK, FMEA...), 6 sigma GB or BB preferred
  • Good English reading and writing capability, can communicate with foreigners in oral English
