LOCATION: Shanghai

FUNCTION: To buildup professional government affairs capacity to support Danaher Diagnostics Platform, Danaher Life Sciences growth and Danaher Biology Technology growth in Shanghai and Jiangsu .

BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

  • Support the needs of external affairs across the Danaher Diagnostics Platform, Danaher Life Sciences Platform and Danaher Biotechnology Platform through developing regional (Shanghai/Jiangsu) government relationship, develop GA strategies, implementation plans and response for execution result.
  • Support the related projects and track progress while coordinating with marketing and business leaders, aiming to maximize government relationship function as well as minimize impacts by government policy changes.
  • Develop and maintain professional relations with local government officials in Jiangsu and Shanghai.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of government relationship framework in Shanghai and Jiangsu. Designing projects with local governments to implement Danaher strategy via conferences, exhibitions, and roadshow.
  • Leading on government award and honor applications, including application of government honors for group executives and plants.
  • Supporting Shanghai and Jiangsu factories operational issues, including product localization, subsidy application, special goods import and key certification awarding.
  • Reinforce the cooperation and expand Danaher exposure in the regional industrial parks.
  • Supporting the external affairs development for Danaher Biotechnology Platform, including government-endorsed function certification application, brand exposure and subsidy application.
  • Responsible for corporate publicity: organizing Danaher pink-run, overseas university visits as well as industry visits, etc.
  • Organizing global executives' government visit and responsible for connecting KOLs for relative visit and exchanges.
  • Responsible for external publicity materials for Group executives.

  • External contacts for this position include Regional government sectors, NGOs, industrial authorization, university & academy with healthcare industry related of Danaher business needs.
  • Internal contacts include Danaher operation companies in China

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:

The incumbent of this position is responsible for her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & SKILLS:

  • Yangtze Normal University, Bachelor's degree, English Major
  • English: CET-4 / CET-6/ TEM-4/ETTBL
  • IT: proficient in Excel/PowerPoint/Word

WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • 4 years of related work experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires business traveling in a frequent situation.
