Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual as a Sr. Strategic Vertical Marketing Analyst for Industrial & Applied. This is a unique opportunity to chip in corporate marketing strategy and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on market dynamics, including policy, regulation, technology, and investment trends, to determine their relevance to Thermo Fisher's business and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights within assigned market segments.
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of customer needs, difficulties, and buying behaviors to support marketing strategies and initiatives, including market segmentation and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support targeted marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and leads generation, and strengthen thought leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging marketing trends and marketing practice, and able to share knowledge and insights.
  • Identify potential strategic collaboration with associations and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to position Thermo Fisher as a leading player in the industry.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in analytical chemistry, material science, or related subject areas. Equivalent experience in these fields will also be considered. An advanced marketing degree is a plus.

1. Validated experience in strategic marketing, preferably within the Analytical Instrument industry, with knowledge of end market trends, technologies, and customer requirements.

2. Being analytical and down-to-earth, to drive effective marketing strategies based on policies, regulations, market data, and end market insights.

3. Consistent record of successfully developing and implementing marketing plans.

4. Effective interpersonal capability to communicate and collaborate with individuals and groups.

5. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
