Position Statement:

The Commercial Manager Focused Service Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) will be responsible for supporting commercial performance of focused service managed hotels and pre-opening of focused service managed hotels in GCM.

· The role will be responsible to maximize profitability for focused service managed hotels, with an objective to achieve hotels' budgeted revenue, increase RevPar Index and market share targets. Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete respective commercial actions, commercial review or support initiatives/projects.

· From a pre-opening perspective, the role will also support for ensuring successful delivery of all focused service new managed hotels opening across Greater China & Mongolia region.

Position Summary:

· Support the Snr Director Focused Service GCM conduct or collaborate on all activities needed to grow the focused service managed hotels performance, manage with any performance growth opportunities, increasing profitability, achieve hotel budgeted revenue, increase market share targets.

· Support all commercial aspects of focused service managed hotels from preparation to a smooth opening and support the ramp-up once the hotel is opened.

· Ensure focused service managed hotels commercial teams

Ø Implement the right strategies in place to deliver their revenue targets.

Ø Use Hilton sales systems and tools in accordance with our standards;

Ø Have appropriate targets in place (SIP).

Ø Evaluate and identify business opportunities for hotels and directs accordingly.

Ø Optimize sales resource, to drive market share from key segmentation.

Ø Capture maximum demand and to drive the highest level of conversion.

Ø Align with regional and enterprise-wide plans

· Hold regular productivity reviews with the focused service hotels commercial teams to ensure we are acquiring enough new customers as well as growing existing customers revenue and share.

· Manage the appropriate commercial targets & objectives for the hotels and navigate how those targets & objectives are going to be accomplished.

· Support Snr Director Focused Service GCM & key stakeholders to optimize the resources and activities of the hotel's commercial team.

· Support all focused service managed hotels commercial people trained and equipped to drive business.

Direct Reports: Although the position does not have any Direct Reports, this role will need to maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels and will collaborate with Development, Brand Management, Technical Services, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, IT, Finance and other Pre-Opening and/or functions.

Required:

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

· BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree

· Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

· 10+ years working experience preferred

· Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, strategic planning capabilities and time management.

· Ability to work well under deadline pressure.

· Ability to deliver presentations in a concise, well-organized manner.

· Ability to work in a matrix organization.

· Critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths/weakness of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions or approaches to problem.

· Self-starter, well organized, extremely detail-oriented and an assertive team player, willing to take ownership of responsibilities, and possess a high level of positive energy and drive

· Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information

· Dynamic, innovative and creative in finding business solutions

· Excellent in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
