As a Project Manager for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.
This is a position with global grade13
Your responsibilities- Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals
- Ensuring compliance to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer, all in accordance with the contract
- Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreement
- Supporting Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree or above and major in Engineering with subject of Electrical or Mechanical or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields
- 3+ years of work experience in project management or sales engineering
- Analytical decision making and problem-solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure
- PMP certificate or ABB internal PM certified
- Professional level ability with MS Office tools and experience in SAP
- Must be customer-oriented
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both oral and written
