Job Description

The finance director is responsible for providing high-quality financial insight, reporting, analysis and advice to support business units and functions strategic decisions,executing financial strategies to ensure the company's sustainable growth and profitability. As a strategic partner, you'll ensure the integrity of financials, drive performance, and advise business leaders. Your focus areas include accuracy, decision support, financial modeling, compliance, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

1.FP&A Lead

  • Financial Strategy and Planning
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Forecasting and Modeling

Provide strong leadership and display agility in the areas of Financial Reporting and Analysis, Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, China consolidated P&L management

  • Periodical financial review and variances analysis
  • Provide insights and commentary on performance and current business trends
  • Communicate future risks and opportunities,
  • Develop estimates and scenario planning.
  • Validate and improve management data quality.
  • Lead end-to-end processes in periodical forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan
  • Participate in initiatives to streamline financial planning processes and other business processes
  • Translate business line strategy into financial plans and targets
  • Develop business segment P&L, Franchise P&L and China consolidated P&L
  • Framing, developing and preparing review materials in English for business financial reviews.

2.Finance Business Partner

Business Support/Cross-functional Collaboration

Business Development

  • Partner with business units and other departments as a trusted advisor.
  • Assess business opportunities, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Provide strategic financial input to achieve business financial objectives. and identifying improvement opportunities for better ROI
  • Provide strategic leadership in business and organization transformation and support change initiatives
  • Supporting various Business Development initiatives and ad-hoc strategic planning projects, and other business needs

3.Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to team members.

In this role the candidate should expect to gain exposure to strategic planning, business operation, change management, and project management. Expand your toolkit beyond standard P&L analytical approaches, including big data analysis, pipeline analysis, resource allocation analysis and capital management etc.

Qualifications:

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or above preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
  • CPA / ACCA is must; MBA is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, BPC and Office applications
  • More than 10 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, business partnership and finance control within sizable business units,
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry/medical device/healthcare is preferred.
  • Business partnering experience with broad market and retail channel business units is preferred.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English

  • Capacity to negotiate and influence at all levels of the company and particularly with Senior Management
  • Business acumen (e.g. knowledgeable in policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the business)
