Scope and Authority 工作范围

The role of Account Manager (AM) is to serve as customer expert on account level. They are responsible for commercial targets at account level and must ensure deep trust and involvement by developing an intimate understanding of customer needs on account level. Furthermore, the AM sells both directly and with support of Industry Sales Managers and Product Specialists and has lead responsibility for Risk Level 1 (RL1) sales. In some instances, the AM can develop their role to also be responsible for Risk Level 2 sales.

Responsibilities 工作职责

  • Responsible for establishing and implementing an account based structural market plan, aimed at targeting and maintaining relationship with customer contacts.
  • Drive the sales of RL1; justify their value and increase Marel's market share year on year while meeting our customers' requirements
  • Maintain a close contact with existing and potential customer accounts and contacts in the market as well as building and maintaining a deep knowledge of customers' needs
  • Responsible for realizing sales budget (target) in volume and achieving the best possible price and market share of RL1 solutions
  • Analyze customer needs and offer best solution
  • Responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up (maintaining data in CRM systems)
  • Full/part participation in the organizing of commercial activities such as exhibitions, demos/trials and other events
  • Collect and report general market information and desires as well as needs of customers and relations
  • Collect information on competitors' activities, installed base, requirements and developments
  • Better located in the south of China (Shanghai for example) to cover the market, but not essential.

  • Be ready to travel a lot 50%- 70% on the position based on business needs
