Job Description
Responsible for activities and operations in the accounts payable function of the organization, including but not limited to assisting the team with entering invoices for payment, establishing of accounting policies and procedures to be followed for proper handling and coding of invoices; ensuring all invoices have appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment; overseeing that month-end tasks are completed successfully, which includes reconciliation of accounts payable to the general ledger. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers. Coordinate Cash Disbursement processing including but not limited to, weekly payment runs, non-routine manual payment requests, and ACH & wire transfers. Includes US and foreign currencies. Provide assistance as needed, to tax manager with VAT tax compliance and reporting. Assist senior accounting manager with other special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- 1 to 3+ years of experience as an accountant
- Strong proficiency of MS Office and SAP
- Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills
- Process and operationally minded individual able to identify and help streamline processes to drive efficiencies.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
