Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Scientist to lead our Microwell Assay development team in China. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural sciences, preferably in biology, pharmaceuticals, or medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize immunoassay products, including raw material selection, formula design, and product registration.
  • Prepare product registration dossiers in accordance with design control processes.
  • Assist in product registration activities, such as type testing, clinical trials, and quality inspection.
  • Establish, implement, and improve platform technology and department-related processes for the China R&D Department.

Requirements

  • Natural science major background, preferably in biology, pharmaceuticals, or medicine.
  • BS with 10-15 years of experience, or Masters with 8-10 years, or PhD with more than 5 years of immunoassay development experience.
  • Hands-on development expertise in immunoassay development, with a track record of developing marketed immunoassays.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin, with a strong understanding of US and China cultural differences.
  • Strong technical contributions, with a track record of commercialized products.
  • Research experience in immunoassay concepts and technologies.
  • Previous experience in experimental design and analytical analysis, including data evaluation and interpretation.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel, along with experience in MiniTab or other statistical software.
  • Experience with evaluation and statistical analysis using methods such as the CLSI documents.
  • Bilingual with good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin, and a demonstrated ability to work in an interdependent, collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience in antibody/antigen selection, modification, purification is desired.
