Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Kohler Co. in Shanghai, China.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for KOHLER Electronic products. This includes establishing product reliability test procedures, implementing product/part QTP/VTP test plans, and working on designing mechanic-electronic appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for KOHLER Electronic products
- Establish product reliability test procedures
- Implement product/part QTP/VTP test plans
- Work on designing mechanic-electronic appliances
- Conceive and plan engineering subtasks to explore product or process problems
- Coordinate activities with other functional areas, suppliers, contractors, and consultants
- Complete other tasks assigned by manager
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in complicated electronic products mechanical design
- Extensive knowledge in Injection mold and Machining processes
- Familiarity with Pro/E and Auto CAD
- Experience in global organization and multi-national corporations preferred
- Fluent in English, including writing and oral
- Familiarity with 6 sigma (DMAIC & DFSS) and basic Reliability knowledge
