Mechanical Engineer for Medical Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. As a key member of our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) MD (Mechanical Design) team, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining mechatronic products or components for medical systems.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with the system team and internal customers to create new design concepts and solutions for medical systems.
- Conduct design iterations using design methods such as DFEMA, calculation, FEA, prototyping, and testing, and realize the design from concept to 3D model and 2D drawing.
- Work on design changes from quality improvement, localization, 2nd source, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with the testing team to verify and qualify the design.
- Support the production department in setting up manufacturing, assembling, and testing.
- Maintain products through their lifecycle, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support the German and US teams on global components and products.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical automation.
- Minimum 3-year experience in mechanical design, with a preference for experience in mechanical transmission.
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Advanced experience and skills in CAD tools, preferably NX UG.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of DFMEA, DOE, and FEA is preferable.
- Experience in international working is preferable.
