Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate proposals with external customers for Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine auxiliary systems.
  • Engage in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes.
  • Provide sales support for customer meetings & workshops with design institutes during pre-acquisition phase.
  • Prepare proposals for auxiliary systems including cost calculation & risk assessment.
  • Provide technical clarification and negotiation during bid submission & contract negotiation phase.
  • Present results of proposal preparation to management, sales and customers.
  • Avoid Non Conformance Costs (NCC), handover successful offers to project implementation teams.
  • Provide technical support on local sub-supplier qualification & clarification, conduct necessary design changes, to meet cost reduction target and local codes & regulations requirements.
  • Support project execution, including participating inspection / factory acceptance test as supplier site and providing erection & commissioning instructions at project site, if required.
  • Coordinate gas turbine auxiliary system design activities and interfaces with internal & external engineering disciplines, procurement department.
  • Identify, mitigate and manage all project risks.
  • Manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering.
  • At least 5 years experience in a engineering discipline for GT / ST power plant systems (engineering, project management).
  • Good knowledge in domestic Codes & Regulations on power generation.
  • Good knowledge and experience in design of gas turbine or steam turbine auxiliary systems, lube oil system, air intake system, etc.
  • Rich experience in power plant auxiliary system development & supplier qualification.
  • Project site experience in installation and commissioning would be a plus.
  • Fluent English and Chinese skill in business environment.
  • Proven intercultural experience, working experience in European company would be a plus.
