We are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Development team, where you will play a vital role in bringing cutting-edge connector, socket, and cable assembly designs to life.
Your ImpactAs a key member of the R&D team, you'll be responsible for the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to production release. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into robust and reliable designs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of innovative connector, socket, and cable assembly solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, mechanical simulations, and engineering evaluations to ensure product viability.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation using industry-standard CAD software.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and ensure high-quality product output.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales representatives, and internal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong mechanical engineering background and a passion for innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the design and development of electrical components, connectors, or cable assemblies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and GD&T principles.
- Experience with finite element analysis software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
