Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. This includes developing and implementing regular calibration and maintenance plans, conducting daily maintenance and troubleshooting, and inspecting and diagnosing equipment faults and malfunctions.

  • Develop and implement regular calibration and maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure a safe and adequate supply.
  • Work closely with other departments to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Promote Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and train line leaders and operators on machine safety, routine cleaning, and basic maintenance.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and participate in the development of capital projects related to maintenance.
  • Conduct Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Collect quotes for maintenance and evaluate technical effectiveness.
  • Create or adjust programs and parameters in the plant in cooperation with process engineers.
  • Design and fabricate jigs, fixtures, and other components as needed.
  • Participate in the selection, installation, commissioning, and acceptance of equipment for new projects.
Background & Skills

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or industrial engineering or a related field. They will also have experience with design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as knowledge of pumps, vacuum systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Familiarity with machining processes, drive systems, and stamping molds is also required.
