Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Engineer IV-VSE-C4 to join our team at Applied Materials. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform startups through Tier III, including process qualifications with assistance.
  • Understand and verify operational quality of systems equipment, including the ability to use customer's metrology equipment.
  • Plan and complete all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines.
  • Troubleshoot key technical issues at the component level.
  • Diagnose and recommend solutions for complex system downs.
  • Use process data to diagnose hardware problems.
  • Resolve sustaining process issues on well-characterized tools.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot key technical issues at the component level.
  • Use routine process data and on-site data logging functions to diagnose system downs.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • May resolve sustaining process issues with assistance or on very well-characterized tools.
  • Perform complex retrofits.
  • May occasionally organize and lead retrofit activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
