About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for Combustion commodities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to support Siemens Energy business objectives.
  • Lead specific supplier relationships and negotiate complex terms and conditions.
  • Responsible for the creation and deployment of Cost Models for designated commodities/services/products.
  • Develop and implement long-term commodity strategies and execute them effectively.
  • Interface with various functional areas to resolve problems associated with the commodity.
  • Negotiate quotes and contracts with traditional and advanced negotiation techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of collective experience working in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering, Technical discipline, or similar function.
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing processes and manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent change management skills and demonstrated ability to lead change.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to influence through effective verbal and written communication skills.
