Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Off Premise Distribution Manager to lead our strategic growth initiatives in the Off Premise channel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing distribution strategies, and managing relationships with distribution partners and wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth and Strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to achieve volume and distribution targets for the Off Premise channel.
    • Align pricing and promotions with key stakeholders to ensure profitability and minimize cross-channel cannibalization.
    • Coordinate cross-channel volume splits with On Premise on a quarterly/bi-yearly basis.
  • Distribution Model Development
    • Support the General Manager/Off Premise Manager in defining a long-term distribution model for the country.
    • Develop solid business plans with distribution partners and wholesalers to deliver the long-term distribution model and sustainably expand Red Bull distribution across the Off Premise universe in China.
    • Perform annual sales and distribution forecasts for each distribution partner and wholesaler, along with proposed investments.
  • Market Analysis and Data Management
    • Analyze market data from reliable sources to identify gaps or opportunities in distribution and SKU listings, by region.
    • Obtain sales out data (depletion) from distribution partners and wholesalers, and analyze this information to measure performance, improve forecasting, and quantify Pay for Performance remuneration.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and coach the national key account manager and trade marketing manager to increase productivity and engagement.
    • Take ownership of the national training plan, guaranteeing trainings and coaching on a benchmark level to ensure continuous development of direct reports.
    • Evaluate the skill level of direct reports on a permanent basis and adjust plans to reach targets.
  • Requirements
    • 8+ years of experience in distribution and/or supplier management, preferably in the beverage industry.
    • Successful track record in leading, managing, and motivating wholesaler and external sales forces, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
    • Experience in team management and a track record of leading a high-performing team.
    • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to work independently.
    • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and influencer.
    • Highly developed analytical skills, including sales and customer data.
    • Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies.
    • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Travel: 40-50%.
